Making browned butter at home is easier than you think; all you need is butter, a saucepan, and a heat source.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ Cup Butter (1 Stick)

Instructions
 

  • Place butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • After butter is melted, stir constantly.
  • The butter will start to foam and sizzle. This is normal; continue stirring.
  • In 5-8 minutes the butter will turn brown.
  • Immediately remove the pan and pour the butter into a heatproof bowl.
  • Allow to cool to room temperature.
